A young woman with wispy white hair and matching eyes is sitting at one of the tables during breakfast, looking like she's a little puzzled by the food she picked.

"I did, yes." she says, looking up at Brigid.

"Lot of us just got here a little bit ago. It's not bad. Different than Salem, but not bad."
She sat her tray down and took a seat.
"I'm Brigid."

Raven was next in, going through the lunchline and picking up...erm, lunch...before looking for a seat.

"Don't need to feel bad about it. I didn't get to go there long either, before we all ended up here."
"Guess it's far from home either way."
Her accent was hard to place. There was some British, a bit of Irish, and some hints of a West African accent.

Ashlie nods. And after a short pause: "I'm from Seattle. Where are you from?"

"I'm from... pretty far South. Most people haven't heard of it."

"I'm not most people." she notes, though she does seem fine with Brigid's answer otherwise.

She sighed, having done this dance before.
"...look, if I say 'The Savage Land,' is it going to mean anything to you?"

"Supposedly an enclave of jungle-like vegetation in Antarctica."

"Right. Supposedly..."

"You sound upset. I didn't mean to question the existance of your home..."

"No, no, just... it's a weird place, I know."

"This place is weird too compared to most places."

"I'll give you credit though, you didn't start raving about dinosaurs."

"Should I have?" she asks, sounding like she's afraid she did something wrong.

"Not really? It's just kind of what everyone focuses on. Gets annoying."

"Oh, okay. That seems silly though. No one gets excited about sharks or crocodiles."

"Things exist, whether people see them or not. And seeing a dinosaur would have a high likelihood of being dangerous!"

"I see why you would prefer it here. Much fewer giant and carnivorous creatures in England. None to be exact."

"None anymore," Raven corrected, as she plopped herself down.
