Welcome to Xavier's University

The driveway and lawn in front of the manor are bustling with activity. Summer is over and people from all over arrive or return to the school. Some with their parents, the vast majority without. Some of the returning students and teachers have been here for a couple days, others spend the summer entirely. An orientation followed by a party are scheduled for later in the afternoon, taking place inside the mansion itself but until then newcomers are free to explore their new home. That's what it says on the welcoming letter everyone likely received at some point.

Tables with refreshments are set up on the lawn and from the smell of things a barbecue is set up nearby.
