Issue 1 Downtime

Theresa had picked a fairly open spot of the grounds to practice for her latest goal. She was currently hover in mid-air, supported by a small whirlwind. Around her, suspended on small whirlwinds were stones of varying sizes. They bobbed a little as her concentration wavered slightly and she slowly set them down one by one, leaving one stone orbiting her on it's miniature tornado.

"This is pretty good," Brigid says, approaching. "I thought you needed the cape to fly."

"The cape helps with some moves, but it isn't strictly necessary." She opened her eyes which were only glowing around the edges. "Good week so far?"

"Well enough. I think Mini-Murphy's gonna be the death of me, but I'm sure you sympathize there."

"Not much I can do about that," Theresa acknowledged, lowered the remaining rock slowly to the ground.

"Yeah, I could see how that might be the case," Theresa said. "Hold still." Brigid would feel the wind beginning to pick up around her.

"Uhm... okay?" She says, nervously looking around her.

The circulation tightened and lifted Brigid unsteadily into the air, but not more than a foot off the ground. Theresa's eyes started to glow a bit more, but she seemed to be in control of what was going on. "How does it feel?"

Theresa smirked and the winds holding Brigid up suddenly quit.

"Gyah!" She blurts out, but manages to land better than most would.

"I'm just saying."

Theresa looks thoughtful, "I suppose you're right. For now." She smiles, "Just a little on edge you know. Feeling a little rusty at this sort of thing."
