Issue 1 Downtime

Nina walks through the gates. She's wearing an AIM t-shirt under her lab coat.

You can get them at the gift shop.

She was also dragging a duffel bag behind her with all her worldly possessions. Her dismissal from SHIELD had been rather sudden. And forceful. But Nina was't bugged at all. It was a brand new start to a brand new day!

She probably should have told the University she was coming back.

Just up the path from the gates, a figure stood.

"Nina Madaraki, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.," he said, in that font that indicates he's saying the name of the book for the readers.

"Ex-Agent," NIna corrects the voice cheerfully. "I'm having new cards made."

"They finally kicked you out, did they?"

"Things got very...loud. Sort of shouty," Nina says. She drops her duffel bag. There was a sound suspiciously like a groan.

She smiles brightly at Will, "So, I decided to come back to the fourth-bestest place that I'm aware of."

"Secrets," Nina says with a manic smile. "...Also, clean underwear and toiletries."

"How have you been?" Nina asks, deftly changing the subject.

"Of course," Nina says with a giggle, "I know how it is."

Her probes had begun to infest the immediate area. A few gave Will a friendly poke, just to see if he had changed any since the last time they met

He had! He was now nano-probe free. That was the most obvious, immediate physical change.

"Well, I can't lie...

...it's good to see you again, Nina," he said, grinning.

"You can't lie? Did something happen to your brain?" Nina asks, sounding concerned. "Regular falsehoods are important to maintaining social relationships."

"There's nothing moaning in my bag," Nina says. "It was more of a groan. Kind of a pained groan."

You planning on staying for a while this time?"
