On To The Next Project

Now that the motorbike was done, Allison had commandeered one of the maintenance bays for the university's vehicle and currently had a BMW 3-series on the lift, inspecting the undercarriage and shining a flashlight up into the nooks and crannies of the engine. She frowned and rubbed her chin, reaching up to pick at something with a suddenly clawed hand.

Nick wandered in from another bay, wearing a slightly oily work-shirt and a rag over one shoulder.

"I wondered why one of the X-Vans was parked outside."

"That's pretty good. Always nice to get asked back," she said, moving out from under the car and lowering it back to the ground. The thing was obviously used, though the body panels still looked like they were in good shape.

She flipped him the bird with her free hand. "I also wanted to take on a bigger project. Actually going to rip out most of the stock parts and replace them."

"Awesome. I think John knows a guy if you want any new tech toys in it... assuming Captain Work Ethic didn't build the damn things himself. Although personally I don't see the appeal of a lot of it."

She went around to the side and popped the hood. "It's in pretty decent shape," she said, lifting the hood. "Good maintenance records."

She fished around in the tool box and pulled out some tools. She jacked the car back up a bit. "Have to flush out the fluids first before I can rip it apart though."
