One moment the grounds near the Lighthouse are empty, the next Aria steps around a crinkle in space and onto the grass.
"God damn untrustworthy windbags screwing everything up!" she curses under her breath.

Nick leaned back as if supported by a tilting wall and kicked at her midsection.

She tries to twist out of the way but the kick still connects and sends her flying backwards until she manages to stabilize herself enough with her wings to land on her feet.
"Saw that coming, huh?" she says and runs at him again except her trajectory seems all weird, the angle of her approach seeming to change all the time, running at him from behind one second and approaching from the front the next.

Nick let his telekinesis take up the slack in his perception and struck out with a right hook when she appeared close. It was his best defense.

It doesn't hit her but it does hit something. Something that produces the faint sound of metal snapping and suddenly all the spatial distortions stop. Aria is still right next to Nick and pure momentum is still carrying her punch towards Nick's face but there's a look of utter surprise on her face and her eyes are following the wrist-computer that got TK'ed off her arm and was send flying.
Oh fuck...

Aria is too distracted to do anything about it and just straight up takes the punch, which sends her to the ground sprawling. Completely ignoring Nick she scrambles up and frantically looks around to find her computer.
