Issue 1 Downtime

November in England is cold. Very cold, for most people.

Anastasiya Volkoff was not most people. She walked around wearing tight cut shorts and a tanktop, as she dragged a couple heavy looking tires behind her. It was time to work out, and it was far too nice of a day to do it inside.

"<Reminiscent of home, Miss Volkoff?>," Natalya asked in Russian as she approached.

<"A bit warm still, actually, but it will do. Who are you?">

<"Natalya Romanov. I... consult on security for the school.">

<"A pleasure!

I hope I have not already done something wrong, though...">

<"Oh... no. You've done nothing wrong. I just hadn't had a chance to greet you and thought I would take the opportunity to do so.">

<"Well, then, I reiterate the pleasure.

Much call for security here, then?">

<"When we're needed, we're really needed. We try to make sure that that is as little as possible.">

<"Well, I'm sure you show these English-types how to do a job properly.">

<"They do need to be told every once in a while."> She was obviously kidding, but she was also speaking Russian, so it would be hard for an outsider to tell.

<"So far, it is not so bad here. A little quiet, though. Are there no competitions here?">

<"Competitions are a little hard to stage when everyone's abilities are so varied. For example, most of the students could not hope to best you in weightlifting."?

<"This is true. This is a problem that I must figure out how to alleviate.">

<"I wish you luck on that. It will not be an easy task.">

<"I would have thought the average student here would not be so...breakable.">

<"It depends on their mutation. Some are... some are not. And with some, it just depends.">

<"A bit disappointing, but I will survive.">
