Regan was waiting for Haley, haunting her usual tree and feeling a bit paranoid.

This felt like a trap.

Haley snuck out of her room and crept around until she found Regan. She was bundled up in a hoodie, looking around nervously.

"Are you freaking scared?" Regan says, rolling her eyes as she drifts down from the tree, "Jeez, Haley. Get over yourself."

Haley shivered, as a particular frightening memory of Belasco flashed through her mind.

"....yeah. not gonna sleep well for a while."

Haley was quiet for a moment, clenching her eyes closed.

"I wouldn't...I feel bad enough about screwing with Kay's notebook. And this is...just...I hate my telepathy. It's hard not to overhear things that no one would normally want said out loud...and then shit like this happens, and it's even more of an invasion."

"But if I was a telepath, I would've known that Kelly was just fucking with me. I would've known Kay wasn't interested in me. I would've know that Christie was just using me to get to Kay."

Regan shakes her head, "Whatever. It's not like anyone's interested in a dead girl anyway. I shouldn't even care."

"Doesn't even care about me anymore. Not since Theresa and Kay broke up."

Regan shrugs, "Probably for the best. I think I'm turning into a demon anyway."
