Kay was running pretty fast, first aimlessly but then roughly heading towards the ocean where she knew no one could follow. Still, Brigid would probably manage to catch up with her as she's heading across the grounds.

Kay doesn't stop, though she's not nearly as fast as Brigid. Or has as much stamina, especially since she's still sobbing. And soon enough she slowly down and then comes to a stop. "I... I didn't..."
