Haley floated over the walls of the maze shortly after sundown, backpack slung over her shoulder. The library was usually crowded, and so was the common room. The center of the maze was really one of the only places she felt pretty isolated on the entire grounds. At least until other people started flying around too.
Haley set herself down, pulled out her phone, switched on its light, and pulled out a worn sketchbook that had been tucked away in her room for some time now, a faint "Kay" written in the corner.
"Alright fish girl," she mumbled to herself, "Let's see if you're drawing anything good..."

The notebook is clearly the result of being bored in class. Judging from some of the notes mostly during math and history.
- Some pages are just filled entirely with doodles.
- Then some abandoned math homework.
- Followed by a comic-y drawing of a cat-boy with a gaggle of fangirls.
- Judging by the fish-girl she drew underneath she clearly thinks they are stupid.
- Yet another page of doodling.
- Theresa dressed as some kinda Warlock casting lightning bolts at some blob monster with scary teeth.
- A short comic of sorts of a mopey fish-girl and a magic image-inducer watch turning her into a happy human girl.
- Homework attempt.
- A short comic of Brigid punching the sphinx-shaped ship that attacked the school. Not to scale in any way.
- Some sort of Disney-inspired underwater castle made of corals.
- Another doodle-filled page.
- Big ol' dinosaur roaring.
- Attempt at an essay for English class.
- Theresa with a cloud above her head, looking sad.
- Brigid with her hands on her hips, standing on top of a knocked-out T-Rex.
- A smiling ghost (bed-sheet style) and a cheering fish-girl.
- More doodles.
Randomly spread throughout the pages seems to be some kind of comic-project starring Brigid, taking place in Kay's imagined version of the Savage Land and featuring herself and Theresa in guest-appearances. This is probably the kind of thing Haley was looking for because it's surprisingly extensive and not just embarrassing for Kay (who is leading some kind of tribe of awesome fish-people, naturally) but also Brigid, the Queen of the Jungle (in skimpy leather get-up) and Theresa the Weather-Witch. No one else from school is incorporated though a case could be made that the evil oil baron from Texas trying to exploit the land and it's resources is Haley. The character hasn't been "on-screen" yet though and seems to be a recent introduction to the plot and it's otherwise random jungle hi-jinks format. It's obvious this was never meant to be seen by anybody, not even Brigid or Theresa.

Oh, this is fantastic, she grinned, pulling out her phone and snapping pictures of everything that wasn't homework, before putting the book back into her backpack.
She texted Cal and sent one or two pictures with it

weird Dino girl or not, I don't think I'd draw someone who was just a friend in that skimpy of an outfit amirite?
