Stirring Pea Soup ((Open))

It was a standard foggy morning on the grounds and not too far from the buildings, the fog was behaving strangely. Periodically it would recede in a small area and then return to its former thickness. Whenever it receded, Theresa became easily visible, her hands lifting and falling in what looked like a slow-motion flapping motion as she muttered to herself.

Meanwhile, there was a worried look on Brigid's face as she nearly stalked about the grounds.
Spotting Theresa, she approached but didn't interrupt.

She stopped and the fog returned to its normal state, "Keepin' busy?"

"Trying to. A bunch of classes are cancelled and I can't find Kay anywhere..."

"Yeah, I noticed that. They said it wasn't safe to leave the grounds, so I decided to put this fog to some sort of use."

"Seems like you're getting pretty good, huh?"

"If you call flapping your arms and muttering like a wizard from a fantasy movie 'getting good'," she shrugged. "Just an exercise really. Fog's sort of like a low-hanging cloud without the whole potential lightning issues to worry about. Or at least that's what they said when they suggested I try practicing with it."

"If you're going to mutter like a wizard, maybe you need a costume," she chuckled.

"Something low cut and revealing to make heads explode or something robe-like and bookish?"

"Well, what are you going for?" She laughed.

"I honestly don't know," Theresa said. "I was looking for suggestions."

"Well I guess the first would work if you're looking to make up for lost time here," she smirked.

"Pshh, I don't need to make up for lost time, at least not where exploding heads are concerned," she said. "Would be nice to have a date though, haven't had one of those in a while..."

"Yeah. Alex has gotten kinda wrapped up in schoolwork."

"There are worse things to be wrapped up in. Haven't really met a whole lot of people yet myself."

"Yeah, it's just kind of frustrating, you know? I barely see him outside of class."

"Could be worse. You could be seeing him with someone else," she pointed out. She inhaled deeply and gestured, a small breeze stirring the fog slightly before it curved, causing Theresa's hair to ruffle as it blew into her face and over her head. She sighed.

"Anyway, guess we can't do too much while they've got us confined to the Estate."
"At least it's a large property."
