I just wanna go home...i just wanna go home. I am home. I never left. C'mon...this is all...in your head or some shit. C'mon. I'm in the maze. Listening to music. My legs are probably totally fucking asleep and it's going to feel awful but amazing when I get pins and needles and fall over from it. Haley rambled mentally, shutting her eyes against the shadows that crept around her.

"Same as you, I imagine. Or is it just coincidence we ended up at the same place?"

As Haley's mood worsened, the shadows started to curl around her, regardless of whether her eyes were open to see them. A droning that sounded like whispers intertwined with the buzzing of insects could be heard by her.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Mmm, no, see I'm always here. You, though?" She raised her hand and, with a snap of her fingers, called a spell of spiritual light to push back the shadows, at least for the moment. "I can't say that I like your presence much."

[Haley Crusek]

"Get the fuck away from me!!!" Haley screamed as she opened her eyes to see the shadows swarming, the droning noise setting her even more on edge. A wave a telekinetic force rushed away from her in every direction.

Between Haley's blast and Victoria's burst of light, the oily shadows retreated.

"You're doing your friend a disservice, there. She might learn something, otherwise."

[Victoria Valentine]

"There are some things we are better not knowing. And that is the sort of thing I'll not have spread here." Although her expression didn't change, there was a hard edge to Victoria's voice that said that this point wasn't up for negotiation.

[Haley Crusek]

Haley was still terrified, but she was becoming angrier by the minute. What the fuck was going on? How the hell did she get here in the first place? Why the hell wasn't she back at home yet. And yet again, she was getting ignored and being talked about like she wasn't even there. She HATED IT when old people...or weird dream demons apparently...did that.

"I'm right here. Shut the fuck up, and let me go home!"

"Oh, do you think I brought them here? That's adorable. You didn't even see them coming..."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Sorry, I missed that, what? It sounded like 'darling, please eject me from this place along four completely diverging paths.'"

[Haley Crusek]

Haley couldn't tell if that was addressed at her or not, so she shut up for the time being, slamming back forcefully against any shadow that got even an inch closer to her with her TK.

The figure gave a smirk, and began to sink into the ground.

"Perhaps I'll just let you two talk," he said with another wet chuckle.

[Haley Crusek]

Haley scowled at the creature as it started sinking.

"God, fuck everything about this place," she mumbled to herself.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria scowled. "Well that bodes... it bodes. Ah, the hell with this. Are you ready to go back?"

[Haley Crusek]

"Please," she said desperately.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Ah, she can be civil," Victoria mused as she walked over. "Close your eyes," she said, reaching out to touch Haley's forehead. And when Haley opened her eyes again, she'd find her mind disengaged from Victoria's astral wake... also known as back in the real world.

Haley took a gasping breath as she ripped out her earbuds and scrambled to her feet--she promptly fell back down onto her hands and knees since her legs were completely asleep.

"God damnit!" she swore, "Fucking stupid ass psychic bullshit I hate this shit so much!"
