"If you keep dropping your guard like that in a real fight, you're going to get hit pretty easily," Stephanie observed, walking over towards her student.

Tried to at least. Steph was fast, and she deflected the punch while sidestepping and then had her student in a headlock. "And now you have an inhibitor collar on. Or whatever."

She let go and stepped back. "So. Keep the guard up, and just try to always think one step ahead of your opponent."

She rubbed her arm "Still, a nice punch. I'm glad you didn't hit," she smirked.

Steph was still able to deflect the blow, but Christine left herself far less open to counter-attack this time.

She grinned, "Much better!"

"Shoes?" she asked. "Are shoes actually enough to dampen your powers?"

"Mutant powers are fascinatingly finicky..." she said nodding in thought.

"Up to you. Do you want to beat up a werewolf with your powers or your teacher without," she chuckled.

"Alright," she nodded, cracking her neck and letting out a snarl as she transformed.

"I'm faster now too...but you're more able to let loose. Are you ready?"
