Sean walked into the medical center with a small satchel of things just in case he needed them and looked around for Nailah.

Nailah is at the front desk, talking to one of the nurses. When she sees Sean she excuses herself and walks over to him.
"She's in the room down the hall."

"Alright," Sean said and gestures for Nailah to lead the way. "Are you wanting to be in the room while I do this?"

"Let's hope they don't." she says, leading him down the hallway and to Persephone's room. Knocking gently she steps inside.

"Doesn't hurt to be prepared," Sean said before following Nailah into Persephone's room and looking around.

Persephone lay just about the same place Nailah had last seen her, staring up at the roof, blankly.
She didn't look particularly healthy.

Nailah pulls up one of the chairs and sits down next to the bed, placing her hand on the girl's shoulder. "She's not been doing all that well. She's just fading away."

"Sounds like she's become disconnected," Sean said after following Nailah to Persephone's bed.
Sean places a hand on Persephone's forehead and says something quietly as he attempts to ascertain the status of her spirit.

Strained, at best. There was damage there, but she had a fairly strong spirit to begin with. Those with a weaker one may have been dead from the damage.

Sean reached out to her spirit, strained as it was, with his magic. Trying to find out if there was something a path to communicate directly with her.

WIth enough effort, Sean might be able to make communication.
In fact, there seemed to be TWO paths accessible, if he so chose.

Discretion is the better part of valor, right?
With that thought Sean tried to investigate the beginning of the two paths, so at least he wouldn't be going in completely blind just mostly.

The two paths were equally 'worn', as it were. The first was a rougher road, and the second was smoother, more preferable.

Easiest path is never the best one...
Sean started speaking a new ritual and in the real world he drew a symbol onto Persephone's head. He projected his avatar down the rougher road

Rocking, alone in the corner in a beat-up trailer, sat a little girl. She was wearing torn clothing, and had a very noticeable black eye.

"Persephone?" Sean asked looking at the little girl. His own projected form looked essentially the same as he did, but with glowing eyes.

Sean smiled softly
"I'm also from Birmingham, England by way of the outer estates of the city."
