Issue 1 Downtime

Chloe blinked her eyes as she woke up in the infirmary, as she slowly took stock of her surroundings. Then she spotted Melody. "You bitch!" she said, sitting up "What did you do to me!?!"

Melody blinked several times then looked over at the voice yelling at her. Her hands were on fire, and she looked down at her hands which completely bandaged up at the moment. "Not enough, you birdbrained little whore," she scowled, looking down at her hands and then back at Chloe. "Look at what you did to me, because you were too fucking afraid to just settle this without your powers."

There was the sound of someone clearing her throat from the doorway to the room.

Melody's mind was racing for a good response, but she wasn't coming up with much of one. Mostly just still barely restrained anger at Chloe.

Melody looked over at Chloe, but managed to restrain her scowl and keep a very neutral expression on her face. She looked back at Sam, "Okay. That's fair. Thank you, Headmistress."

Derek spun around, looking angry for a second, then forcing it all back to his work-friendly neutrally polite face. "Ma'am, you need to stay in bed until the doctors discharge you."
