I12DT: Medical Cell

Callie was currently being held in the "Medical Isolation" part of the Medical Center, until she could be properly evaluated by a telepath and it was certain she didn't have any other lingering instructions in her head.

This was somehow worse than the regular cells. At least they didn't smell like antiseptic and....hospital? Is hospital a smell?

There was a bit of a fuss with the guards she could hear out in the hall, and then the ones in the room.

And then the reason became pretty clear as Victoria came in. "Goddess, this is a mess," she sighed, glaring a guard out of stopping her as she walked over to the bed.

"Yeah," Callie says, "You know, all things considered? I think I liked it better when I was a suspected terrorist."

Victoria glared at the guard. "Go take a coffee break, or I'll turn you into a toad." She didn't wait to see if he left as she sat down on the edge of the bed. "Bullshit they're giving you aside, how are you doing?"

"I'm..." Callie stopped herself, "I'm pretty thrown for a loop to be honest."

"Have they told you anything yet? Or is it a 'just sit there and look prettywhile we make you wonder' thing?"

"In their defense, I am really good at looking pretty," Callie says, "They're not telling me anything. I think they're worried about compromising the investigation at this point. I might still have hidden instructions or something."

Victoria shrugged. "I just think flyboy turned you on so much that just a punch wouldn't do it," she said with a smirk.

"Please, you know I've never been much into angels," Callie says.

"Goddesses, maybe," Victoria suggested with a smirk.

"Somebody's going to die for this," she said casually, like she was discussing the weather.

"Well, someone is feeling a little possessive today," Callie says, smiling softly, "I think I like it."
