[Rachel O'Brien]

"Steph is missing too?" Rachel asked "Do you know when?"

[Will Stanton]

"Steph and Ryan?

They were teaching the power class, right? Are all of THEM accounted for?" Will said, standing up. "We need to get McManus to do a sweep of the compound -- see who else is missing."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Yeah, that would be a good idea." Rachel said "I can check for some of the kids, but I don't know everyone."

[Will Stanton]

"I didn't want to assume you were powerful enough to sweep the entire campus," Will said, beginning to lead the entourage down the hall.

[Trev Anderson]

"Yeah, she was teaching power control. I'm not sure how long. She just got back from a mission not that long ago...we were gonna do dinner last night, and she didn't show up. Hasn't answered her phone, don't think her boyfriend knows where she is either..."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"I'm not Emma Frost, but campus isn't that big." Rachel said, closing her eyes. "Kay is missing." she said after a few minutes "Y'know, the girl with the gills."

[Will Stanton]

"And she's in that class, too," Will commented, entering Sam's office.

[Samantha McManus]

Hanging up the phone, Ms. McManus looked to the group that had just arrived.

"Can I help you?"

[Trev Anderson]

"Seems like we have a lot of people missing, Headmistress," Trev explained.

[Byrna Cooper]

bear came into the office, worried.

"Has anyone seen John?" She asked, a little more worried with the large assemblage.

[Samantha McManus]

Ms. McManus looked to Will for confirmation and elaboration.

[Will Stanton]

"We're missing Stephanie and Ryan, as well as one of the students in their power class, Kay," Will said.

"Up until...about ten seconds ago, I was about to ask you if any of the other power students were reported missing, but with John out too...well, I'm not the only one noticing a pattern, am I?"

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Its all people with physical mutations." Rachel said "Except for Steph."

[Will Stanton]

"You've never met Steph, have you," Will said, frowning. "Professor? We need a headcount."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"We had a beer a few days ago." Rachel said.

[Samantha McManus]

"I'll do my best, Will. Give me a moment."

[Will Stanton]

"Thank you."

[Trev Anderson]

"Her physical mutation isn't exactly *immediately* obvious...." he said in Rachel's defense.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"She's a shifter." Rachel said "But you'd have to know her to know that."

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear started pacing, waiting for a tally.

"So, people with animal-like physical mutations?"

[Will Stanton]

"The professor's still here," Will points out.

[Samantha McManus]

"...John, Kay, Stephanie, Ryan, Chloe and... oh, please let me be wrong about this..."

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear waited, anxiously.

[Will Stanton]

Will swore.

[Samantha McManus]

"I can't... I can't sense Professor Weaver!"

[Will Stanton]

Will swore again.

"This is too specific for it to be revenge by Black Air. And with the Rhino missing...

Any other animal-themed people need to stay on campus for a while."

[Byrna Cooper]

"Ad the rest of us need to go, and find out where they have been taken!"

Bears lips pulled tight in determination.

[Will Stanton]

"We can't just go out and start looking everywhere. Maybe there was a pattern where they were taken?"

[Samantha McManus]

"I think... I think I'm going to need to spend some time in Cerebra."

[Byrna Cooper]

"And I'm going to spend time in the armory," Bear fumed.

"I'm on the mission team. Understood?" She said, turning to Will.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"And so am I." Rachel said.

[Will Stanton]

"Yeah, like I'm gonna bench one of the Originals on a mission like this. I'm not Ryan, but I'm not, like, a complete moron," Will joked.

He turned to Rachel. "Yeah, we'll getcha suited up."

[Trev Anderson]

"I...I'm not on the teams, but if there's any way I can be useful around the school, I have been working on getting in fighting shape. Certainly don't want to lose any more people, right?" Trev offered.

[Will Stanton]

"Let's try to get a handle on what happened before sending out the troops, OK?"
