Issue 1 Downtime

Winn walks down the hall of the XU dorms, testing doorknobs to see if any of the rooms are unlocked. She also defaces any whiteboards she comes across.

Victoria's door, surprisingly, was open.

Only it opened into apparently a star-filled void.

Without even a moment of hesitation, Winn steps into the void.

She immediately found herself ensnared in tentacles that seemed to melt out of the void.

"fOoLiSh MoRtAl... WhAt BuSiNeSs HaVe YoU iN mY rEaLm..." The tentacles started to wrap more thoroughly around her, slithering up her limbs and toward her neck.

The tentacles didn't let go, but Victoria's face, fifty feet high and glowing red, melted into being in front of her.

"Seriously, you have some bad thrill issues, dear."

"Sorry, I don't scare so easily these days," Winn says. "I like the giant face tho'. Gives ya a whole Oz the Kinky and Many-Tentacled Vibe."

With that, she was tossed back into the hall, the door slamming shut.

Victoria took a whiff of the flask, immediately wished she hadn't, then took a swig anyway. "Ngh, tell me that isn't really paint thinner," she said, passing it back.
