Issue 1 Downtime

The sun had started drifting through the window, but Callie was doing her best to avoid the waking world. She buried her head under the blankets and held on tight to the warm body next to her, still half asleep and apparently something of a cuddler.

Victoria made an annoyed noise as a sunbeam peeked through her blinds, rolling over and snuggling tighter against... hmm, who was it? It felt familiar... oh well. Making a happy sigh, she settled back in and tried to not wake up.

Slowly, Callie opened her eyes as she groaned. She felt like someone was trying to drive a truck through her head. She smiled, taking comfort that she had found someone warm and...

Fuck, me. Not again. Callie thought as she finally recognized the pale girl cuddling in her cleavage.

"What. the. FUCK!"

Victoria made a show of sniffing around at the chest her face was pressed into without opening her eyes. "What smells like evil and bare feet?" she yawned.

Callie's head rocks back with the punch. Callie grins wildly and pushes Victoria back down onto the bed, kissing her wildly for a moment.

"You really know how to sweet talk a girl."

"Okay," Callie says, "Truce."
