There's a knock on the window of Gid's dorm.

If Teri could see what was going she'd see Gideon placing a glass down on his desk next to a nearly empty bottle before he wandered over to the window.

And as Gid approaches the window he'd see Teri sitting on the windowsill outside, waving at him.

Gideon opened the window with a look of confusion and exhaustion. He looked like he hadn't slept in several days.

"What are you... do you want to come inside?" Gideon asked sounding somewhat off balance with Teri sitting there on his windowsill.

"Either that or you come out." she says cheerfully. "There's not much room though."

Gideon cocked an eyebrow at Teri's response his look of confusion seemed to soften into one of ambivalence.

"No there's not, so you might as well come inside," Gideon said before moving out of the way by walking back towards his desk. "There's a chair in the corner if you want someplace to sit."

Gideon's room was actually fairly well organized though there was still a stack of boxes against one wall that were waiting to be unpacked. One of the desks in the room had been converted into a work bench type surface, in one corner was some rudimentary exercise equipment, and the desk Gideon had been sitting at had the normal stack of textbooks, computer, etc. Though the bottles of alcohol and collection of glasses on the desk did look out of place. The room wasn't exactly decorated though, no posters, pictures, etc.

"That's... a nice room you got." she says, swinging her legs through the window and hopping down into the room.

Gideon looked around the room before picking up his glass off the desk. There were two pictures in Gideon's room one was of a woman and the other was in the bin next to the desk.

"It... suits its purpose," Gideon said, "You're only the second person to visit me here, so I don't really have anything to offer you aside from a place to sit."

"Oh that's okay. And what is that purpose?" she asks, peering at the bottles of alcohol.

"Something to help me sleep and to forget," Gideon said before finishing off what was in his glass.

"We're not sure that's working..." she says, the cheerfulness draining a little.

"No, it isn't," Gideon said, "It used to, but it looks like all good things must end."

"Well then it's time for something else. Something that'll work better."

Gideon chuckled dryly.

"And what would you suggest?" Gideon asked.

"We're not sure! But we could go out there and find out!"

"Out where?" Gideon asked, "I'm not allowed to leave the school grounds."

"Oh... Hmm... Well the grounds are big! There's horses and a swimming pool and a gym and the maze and that danger thingie, but you're not allowed in there either, huh? Still, there's plenty on the grounds!" she smiles.

Gideon looked confused again at Teri's response.

"Alright," Gideon said once again wrong footed by Teri's good mood.

"Anything you feel like doing, Mr. Grumpy-pants?" she asks cheerfully, halfway out the door already, waiting for Gideon.

Gideon watched Teri quietly for a moment before following her towards the door.

"I...I don't know," Gideon said, "Someplace away from this room. Someplace where I don't need to think."

"There's a path along the cliff above the ocean down by the Point."
