Issue 1 Downtime

As her Sunday finally started to end, Belle found herself restless even though she spent most of her day back familiarization herself again with the campus. With her sweater tightly wrapped around herself she peered out the window and thought about certain people of her past.

I wonder what happened to that fat girl, that cute girl, and that cute boy... If only names were important!

Guy drifted into the hall on his way back from... well whatever it was he was up to. He subtly raised a brow towards Belle.

Note to self: Take a holiday to wherever she's from.

Belle slowly turned her head towards the man and gave him her unique alluring smile but said nothing.

"You could say that. I went back home for a little. Had some...personal issues to take care of," she replied as she admired her attractive acquaintance.

"Ah. That explains it. I had only just enrolled when the summer began."

"But where are my manners," he smiled, extending a hand, "Gaius Montgomery, but do call me Guy."

Belle stated her name proudly as she usually does while she took the hand that was offered to her.

"Mucho gusto Don Guy," she replied with enthusiasm.

Expecting nothing less from a proper gentleman Belle allowed her hand to be kissed.

"I don't think I've ever come across a man such as yourself here. It's very refreshing."

"I'm from Mexico Mexico City to be more accurate. By you're accent I'd guess you're from around here. I haven't met too many natives around campus both times I've attended the University." Bell was enthralled by this English marvel of a man, "Don Guy I repeat myself you are a breath of fresh air."

"Americans are...interesting. They're politicians and the MRA is upsetting. They cling to their corrupted elected officials like nuns to a saint. At least were I come from, we're not blinded by loyalty to our politicians." She paused and grinned at Guy, "Englishmen on the other hand... You'll have to teach me all about them."

Casually Belle loosened her sweater and rubbed her neck gently purposely revealing more of her light brown skin on her neck and shoulders, "You had better. No reason to be sweet to a lady then run off moments later to never be seen again."

"I take it back," she said half surprised half pleased. "Most men wouldn't have the, excuse my lack of another word, balls out on a first meeting."

"I like your style Guy," her attraction was back on.

Belle leaned in to whisper in his ear as her soft hands rubbed his left shouder, "The first date I like to go Dutch..."

She leaned in even closer, "Second date I like to go Commando."

Even though Belle wanted to just publicly fornicate like she usually would but she remembered she had to be on her best behavior. Perhaps something good would come of actually having a 'date' and perhaps not but Belle was excited either way.
