The Lap of Luxury

A couple days after Nailah's (tolerated) theft and escape from the Emerald Crow Morrigan would find the goblet the sphinx stole sitting on a table, obviously placed there to be noticed. Of course the red-head probably would have noticed the woman's presence on the ship anyway but hey, it's all part of being a good-natured annoyance. Leaning against the goblet is a note reading: 'I borrowed some water, hope you don't mind.'

The Morrigan shook her head as she spied the goblet.

"They always come back if you feed them," she murmured, casting a glance about.

Nailah isn't anywhere to be seen, though there's a suspicious flicker of light coming from under one the bathroom door.

The Morrigan quirked a brow and approached the door, listening carefully.

There's the sound of splashing water every once in a while as well as a faint humming of some kind of chanty-like melody.

The Morrigan stepped in with a smirk on her face.

"Suppose you didn't jest when you said you could grow accustomed to this."

The room is lit by a whole bunch of candles and has the sphinx lounging in the bathtub. Judging by the smell in the room she found the bath-oils. She looks at Morrigan with bit of an impudent grin on her face. "Do you know how hard it is to have a decent bath out there? Figured you'd allow yourself the luxury of having your own and I was right!"

"Big as the boiler is on this barge, we can have a few luxuries, aye?"

"Though I see you've availed yourself of what I last picked up in Paris."

"A good choice if I dare say so. It's quite divine."

"I'd say you dare quite a bit, from what I've seen," she chuckled.

"I get bored easily..." she says with the appropriate amount of absentmindedness, raising part of her leg out of the water.

"Now that is a comment I'm not sure I can let go unanswered."

"That's sounding better, as I'd rather hate to think I bore you."

"Oh, certainly not! I just dare quite a bit cause o' boredom and you've been very indulgent. Hope you at least didn' tell yer crew about me." she chuckles.

"What goes on in my cabin is no business of theirs, as long as they get their cut."

"Oh that's not what I meant." she waves it off. "But you planning me is how it starts. Next thing you know there's a second towel. Then I figure it'd be convenient to have a brush here and it's all downhill from there."

"Just as long as you remember that I have claws of my own, aye?" She held her hand up as her nails sprung to points for emphasis.

"It's cold out of the water!" she complains, though after a moment of lingering in the water she does get up with little shame before wrapping herself in a towel.
