Issue 1 Downtime

Nailah is sitting on the grass, a little ways off from where Mister Worthington was holding his class on flying, her arms wrapped around her knees.

"He really makes it look good, doesn't he?" Samantha asked as she walked up. Her form was stable, at least for the moment.

She glances up when she hears the familiar voice. Or, well, as familiar as it can be after a couple of weeks.

"Worse, he makes it look easy."

Nailah looks back to the winged guy doing loops in the air as if to double-check.

"Yeah, I guess. I mean he doesn't look bad."

"Yeah, well, neither am I apparently. They told me to wait till they're less fragile..." Instead of kicking at the grass in annoyance her claws just extend and kinda bury into the ground.

"Oh yeah? See how much I care." she says, sticking her tongue out at Sam and (presumably) Becca before getting up and walking away with her back to Mr. Worthington and his class.

"Forgot my books." she explains to no one in particular as she picks up her bag from where she'd been sitting.
