Once again the chosen humans gather at the mansion and are led into the woods behind it. There waits a sleek silvery wedge of a craft propped up on three legs extended from the hull. A long entry ramp extends from a doorway where Anu, human disguise forgotten, serenely stands.

"We are all ready then?" he asks.

"I suppose ready as we'll ever be ...

...this looks like something off of TV."

Nailah just shakes her head in slight disbelief, part of her still wanting to doubt that this is an actual space-ship.

"One thing to talk about it, another thing entirely to see it, aye?" Samantha said as she walked up behind Nailah with her bags.

Steve knelt down and gave the thin metal ramp a knock. There was a satisfying metallic sound.

"Well that's certainly not a painted prop."

"It's just utterly baffling that this would even be possible is all."

"If starry space no limit knows
And sun succeeds to sun,
There is no reason to suppose
Our earth the only one.
'Mid countless constellations cast
A million worlds may be,
With each a God to bless or blast
And steer to destiny," Steve recited in response.

Anu steps aside to allow entry. The inside of the vessel is all curved white walls and smooth chrome, the sterile serenity broken by the occasional bright blue light fixture along the walls and a gold band where wall meets floor. It is almost like a hospital corridor.

"Welcome to my humble vessel."

Bear was dragging along several satchels full of film, lenses, and at least four cameras hanging off her neck.

Nash didn't go in right away. He took some time to walk around and get a better view of the outside of the craft.

Except for the door and where the three legs emerge, the exterior of the ship has no other openings or any signs the craft is more than a single solid mass.
