Issue 1 Downtime

Cal had just come out of a very, very long tactical training session with Rocket Raccoon, and looked exhausted as he flopped over into a chair in the War Room/recreation area.

Rachel was laying on the couch-like object "Hey, Cal" she said, looking over at him.

"Do you know what it's like to be completely outsmarted, outmaneuvered, and get your ASS KICKED by a raccoon? Because I do now."

"Nope, but I know what its like to get your ass handed to you by a dog."

"Okay. I don't feel so bad now, then," he said, leaning back in the chair. "Ugh. Just can't wait for this to be over. This could be fun if getting here hadn't been so freaking screwed up."

"You can say that again." Rachel said with a sigh.

"Least we know how to get home now, right?" Cal sighed, leaning back and closing his eyes.

"Yeah, that is going to be so awesome."

Cal sat there for a few minutes and let the awkward silence grow. "So... um... about the last time we talked..."

"Yeah, about that...."
