Well, that's the initial round, dealt with. Here are the results:

Winston v. Ayami
The backdoor Ayami used in Winston's head comes in quite handy here, as she makes Winston make her a ham sandwich and feed it to her before knocking him out. WINNER: Ayami and her sandwich.

Merle v. Kathrin
Yes, one punch could take Kathrin out, but where's that one punch under huge gravity forces? WINNER: Gravity. Oh, and Kathrin

Melody v. Jayda
Jayda's a lean, mean killing machine. WINNER: Jayda by death and mayhem and knives.

For the next three weeks, we're gonna focus mainly on the first elimination matches. With that in mind:

Merle "Champion" McClintock (0-1) v. Victoria Valentine (0-1), ELIMINATION MATCH
Location: XU Medical Facilities, 3 AM
No truth to the rumor that Merle has to change his codename if he loses.

Because the mall gives plenty of places to hide, I'll give KEVIN the advantage over Melody here.

Not that it looks like I have to convince many people, but Victoria would rely mostly on speed and agility to avoid Merle's attacks. She'd go at him with her newly-gained claws while she's ducking, and only actually hit him or throw him if she gets a good opening.

And to add insult to injury, she'd feed off of him at the end. Not that she needs to. But just because it would piss him off.

Chloe's strategy would be to shift into cockatoo form, and claw and peck at him. If he did manage to get a grip, she'd shift to break it, and then go back to clawing. This strategy allowed her to take out a vampire. Just saying.

With VICTORIA'S new creepystrength, I give the advantage to Victoria there.
