Chez Stanton: Oh Where Has My Little Blob Gone

[Nick Varkan]

One morning, Nick rang the Stanton's buzzer. His new... friend?... had disappeared during the night. Since Sara had been there for him, and science obviously, going to her was his first instinct.

[Sara Stanton]

Sara opens the door, currently holding her very own blob in her arms. This one is kind of a pinkish grey though. She looks somewhat exasperated.

"Oh, hey."

[Nick Varkan]

"I realized this might be a bad time but... yeah... the shadow creature is... it's gone."

[Sara Stanton]

"Could be a better time." she nods, wrangling with the squirming blob which eventually ends up clinging to her hair and the top of her head.

"Just... disappeared into thin air or... or did it slink off?" she asks, struggling with dislodging Robin.

[Nick Varkan]

"Left while I slept, like a one night stand."

[Sara Stanton]

"I'm gonna assume you're just using that as an euphemism? Don't answer that." she quickly adds as she shifts to stone and yanks Robin out of her now petrified hair. "Maybe it recovered enough? It seemed like it was kind of recuperating."

[Robin Stanton]

"Wadsa womigh-tand?" Robin pipes up, turning from squirming blob into flailing toddler.

[Nick Varkan]

Nick groaned inwardly.

"Yeah probably. Still, could've told me 'gee thanks for the recharge' or something."

[Sara Stanton]

"A slumber-party, Robin."


"And maybe it'll be back to say thanks. No one else has reported any strange goo creatures at least. I mean we might be able to rig up something to track it's energy signature if you're worried..."

[Nick Varkan]

"I'm more worried about what it might the next time it gets scared."

[Robin Stanton]

"Wehnn I get scahd I do dis!" Robin tries to be part of the conversation and promptly turns into a teddy bear.

[Sara Stanton]

"Will taught her that one..." she smiles and rolls her eyes a little.

"It didn't seem to be particularly dangerous..."

[Nick Varkan]

"Well it might be if those Moloch people corner it."

[Sara Stanton]

"Alright. We have the readings, once Will's back home we can get the scanner from the lab and go look for it."

[Nick Varkan]

"He back soon or do you want to call me when he does?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Shouldn't be too much longer. You can come in and have some tea if you want."

[Robin Stanton]

"Tee an daddy's gonn walub imma haldiblahaha!" the teddy bursts out in babbling that maybe makes sense to Robin but probably not. It seems to be incredibly amusing to her though and she turns into goo again to slip out of Sara's arms while she's distracted. She splotches onto the ground and kind of rolls/scoots off into the apartment.

[Sara Stanton]

"Just try not to step on my daughter, I guess." she sighs.

[Nick Varkan]

"I'll watch my step," he chuckled softly as he walked in.
