Spokes on a Wheel

Previously the lodgings of the late Lady Braddock, grandmother to Brian and Elizabeth, the Dower House fell into disuse for a number of years, particularly after Braddock Manor passed to Brian himself. Since the arrival of the University, it has been renovated into housing for faculty, staff, and students with special lodging needs.

Spokes on a Wheel

Nailah is sitting on Sam's couch, half-empty glass of wine in hand, having just finished telling Sam about their experience in the Lighthouse-Nexus.

"So it seems I wasn't too far off trying to tap into it to ward the mansion, but it's probably good that I didn't. I'd rather not end up accidentally volunteering myself as the 'eidolon'."

"Who thought it'd be a good idea to weave magic into a technological system?" she sighs. "The last time I saw someone who'd even be familiar with both he was literally being slammed out of this world."
