One afternoon, Theresa would find she had a video call request on her computer.

Theresa looked at the request, thought for a moment, and then clicked the 'Decline' button.

She had probably rebooted her machine at some point though because she seemed to have forgotten Skype's auto-launch so she was online.

There was a pause before a video window appeared. Theresa was obviously sitting on her bed with a headset on. Her arms were crossed. "What?" Brigid could see something on the wall that might possibly be a scorch mark.

From her end, Brigid was in a room that looked a little odd. At least one wall was curved, along the side that had a window. From the window, it was definitely someplace sunny.

Brigid was dressed rather similarly to how she had been during orientation. She waved sheepishly.

"I... ah... figured it was worth a try?"

"So that's all?" Theresa raised an eyebrow and the cross of her arms got tighter.

"And suddenly this weekend I'm making so many and... it got a little nuts."

"But I don't want to lose any either, especially you. I'm sorry, Theresa."

Theresa seemed to consider that for a long moment, the silence significant as she regarded the screen. "I suppose I should forgive you," she finally said.

"I'm talking to someone!" She spat, her head turning somewhere off-camera.

"Oh, like you ever talk to people!" There was a sound of a doorknob turning.

"What's wrong with dressing like this? Mom and Dad dress like this. You dress like this, or you used to..."

Brigid buried her face in her hands as a young man with long blonde hair walked into the shot, wearing nothing but a leather loincloth. He was well-built, and well-tanned, much like his sister.
